Band 1 Course of Treatment |

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg. X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealants. If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than the one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay the one band 1 charge. |
Band 2 Course of Treatment |
£73.50 |
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above plus any further treatments such as fillings, root canal work or your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth. |
Band 3 Course of Treatment |
£319.10 |
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures and bridges. |
Band 4: (£26.80) Urgent/ Assess and Advice
This provides patients with urgent/ emergency care. Under this band you will receive diagnosis if possible on the appointment, Temporary dressings if

Band 4 is not a continuation of treatment, it is a ONE OFF/ ON THE DAY Urgent charge on the NHS. Sometimes we can add a course of treatment to a Band 4 claim but only certain treatment qualifies.
The charge for a Band 4 is always the same as a Band 1.
